Visitors drink in the vista of Niagara's relentless waters
from many angles. Some promenade opposite the mighty torrent on sidewalks barely
damp with spray. Others gaze from the deck of the Maid

to peer out from the Cave of the Winds behind the colossal cataract. A few gaze
from towers or even from the safety of a helicopter high above. Few would deny
that the waters of the American, Bridal Veil and Horseshoe Falls are indeed numbered

Rochester Philharmonic, Rochester, Monroe County
Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra presents a stunning array of classical, pops,
opera and family concerts. The spotlight shines on local virtuosi and international
guest artists alike. Winter performances are held in the spectacular Eastman School
of Music's Eastman Theatre. In July, the orchestra entertains at the Finger Lakes

Seabreeze Park, Rochester, Monroe County
Seabreeze Amusement Park on the
edge of Irondequoit Bay is back! After losing its 1909 vintage carousel in a fire
several years ago, Seabreeze has harnessed a brand new ring of galloping horses
who bound over imaginary obstacles, carrying giggling riders with sticky cotton

Seneca Park Zoo, Rochester,
The Rocky Coasts have come to the Rochester. Seneca Park
Zoo's multi-million dollar exhibit provides underwater viewing of polar bears,
sea lions and penguins. The zoo is home to the state's only African elephants

Shaker Festival, Sodus, Wayne County
Shakers had a number of settlements
in Western New York. The first was at Sodus, Wayne County in the 1820s. The sect
moved to Groveland, Livingston County, in the 1830s. Since one of their basic
